A Savior Is Born

A wonderful holiday season celebrated with family is finally coming to a close.  The time to go back to school, a normal routine and healthy food is right around the corner.  This season was filled with first letters to Santa, a beautiful angel and pure happiness and excitement.

The big man received special letters from all three kids this year.  They each thought long and hard about what they wanted.  Connor's request was a robot, Bennett a big truck and Corynn wished for vanity, I mean a vanity:)

As we all know, Christmas is more than just Santa and presents, it is about Jesus. Corynn took this to heart as she talked about our Savior in her acting debut at her Christmas concert.  An actress was born.  We couldn't have been prouder of our little angel.
Christmas is never complete without cookies and sweet treats which were enjoyed by all.  I think, as usual, more sprinkles made it into the mouths of kids than as decoration on top of the cookies.

Twas the Night
Twas the night before Christmas and all the through house, were eager kids awaiting the arrival of Santa Claus. They dressed in their special pajamas delivered by elves and danced the night away pretty proud of themselves.
Bennett had the most moves and shook and swayed, that was until anyone tried to take his music away.
It was time for the kids to nestle all snug in their beds, to dream of the surprises that lay ahead.
Corynn awoke to find Santa delivered her vanity, and then came the fury of present opening and all the insanity.
Connor searched and searched for his coveted robot, he was overjoyed to find that it was the one special item on his list that Santa brought.
The last item to find was Bennetts big truck, it was a ride on toy, oh what luck!
Now into the New Year of 2015, what wonderful memories I know it will bring!
Happy New Year
