For this months book club we read Dinosaur Roar. Dinosaurs of every size, shape, color and personality thunder through the pages of this book of opposites. The kids loved learning all about the fierce and hungry creatures. After we read the book, we enjoyed themed activities and a snack.
We cracked opened dinosaur eggs, went on a dinosaur egg hunt, made noodle dinosaurs, and compared our feet to the size of a dinos.
I even got all the moms to sing (not necessarily dance) along to the Dino-Pokey, which was probably my kids favorite part. They still are singing the fun rhyming words, over and over again. I may need to rethink song choices for the next book club.
You put your teeth in, you put your teeth out, you put your teeth in and you chomp them all about, you do the dino-pokey.............
