Happy Feet

The kids had their first big city adventure.  It's funny to me that when we lived close to Chicago, we never made it down there with the kids, but the wait proved to be memorable.

They loved looking at the lake, the big buildings and all the airplanes flying above.



After a walk along the lake, we immersed ourselves in an under the sea adventure at the Shedd Aquarium.  They watched intently as the big fish swam by, all the while on a quest to find Nemo and Dori.



Even though we didn't find them, we did see the beluga whales in action, jumping dolphins in a show, starfish and frogs, and some amazing jellyfish.


 
 

The kids never slowed down the whole time we were there.  Their happy feet danced around the Caribbean Reef:

 

And their penguin belly's slid along rocks.

 

 It was a day we will not soon forget and hope to enjoy again.
