One With Nature

How do two kids and a non-hunting wife occupy themselves while Dad is off at the farm, "searching" for squirrels?  Go on a nature hike by the creek.  We grabbed our bucket and shovels and we were off to explore.

Connor loved digging with a shovel and Corynn loved digging with her hands.

We saw many animals, but Connor spotted his favorite, a frog.

Instead of skipping stones, Corynn was sucking stones.

We ended our day swinging until we were dizzy on a tire swing with friends.

Hopefully the only item from nature anyone of us brings home tonight is just a little sand.
