Growing Up

How quickly the time goes.  I feel like it was just yesterday we were bringing home our 4lb 7oz baby boy.  We were so happy and scared (more like terrified) at the same time.  What a joy to be embarking on this new adventure together.

Well two and a half years later our boy has grown up.  He is talking up a storm, making friends, wearing big boy underwear (pull ups, still working on if he ever wants to use the potty), and now going to sleep in a bigger boy bed.

 

He was so excited to try it out.  He hopped right in (hopefully he doesn't hop right out throughout the night) and even scooted over to make room for his sister.

It is hard as a parent to see them grow up and feel like you are forgetting how small they were the first time you held them, but it also makes you so proud to see how far they have come.
