Another year of learning and memories is complete. Time will never slow down and that is evident in how fast this year flew by.
Corynn and Bennett started and ended the year together at Solid Rock Preschool and Moms Day Out.

This was the first time Bennett spent any kind of time away from Mom. It was hard on both of us in the beginning. I had to carry him and his backpack into school while he cried. By the end of the year, though, he was running into school with a smile on his face barely pausing to give me a quick glance goodbye.

Last but not least, is our kindergarten graduate Connor. From the first day of school, to the 100 day of school, to the last, he enjoyed every minute of it. What a bittersweet experience as a parent. From crying in the beginning because your baby is going to kindergarten, to the last time you walk him down the bare bulletin board hallways on the last week. The later because you now realize how much changes in just that one year; They become more independent, make their own friends, stand up for others who are picked on, get picked on themselves but have the courage and will to fight their own battles without the help of mom and dad, add and subtract, write stories with actual words, and pick up any book in the house and READ it!! (OK I may or may not be crying while writing this).

Next will bring new adventures as always. When August rolls around we will have a preschooler, kindergartner and first grader. But let's not rush things. Bring on the summer fun!!!!
