Bennett is now officially a 1 year old. We can't believe just a year ago our little firecracker entered our family. He has been a remarkable baby and a joy for his family.
1 Year Bennett Milestones:
- 21lbs 9oz and 2ft 6.75in tall
- Walks 5-10 steps at a time
- Eats everything you put in front of him
- Drinks milk like a champ
- Crawls upstairs and rolls down
- Says Ma, Dad, Belle, Bird and always expresses his opinion in Bennett talk when he needs anything
- Sleeps through the night (most nights)
We celebrated this past weekend with family and friends at his red wagon first birthday party. Of course Mom had the theme planned since birth, but didn't start decorating until the week of. Party bags and balloons were set for the crazy amount of kids coming to celebrate, the wagon cake was baked and frosted and the stars (after many attempts at freehand drawing one by Dad and Papa Hutch) were sprayed in the yard along with a baseball field. Now it was time to eat, drink and have a wonderful party.
After swimming and eating lunch it was time for cake. Bennett was in awe of the cake and, if he had the chance, could have eaten the entire wagon dessert. Needless to say, he was not shy and enjoyed every lick of his special piece.
Bennett loved all the presents he got. I must say he has some great and too generous family and friends.
