Hippity Hoppity

Hippity Hoppity Easter came and went, but not without fun filled days with fuzzy bunnies, colorful eggs and massive amounts of candy.

We started our Easter fun with a rainy trip to Purina Farms to capture the pivotal bunny family photo.  Connor was not as terrified of the bunny this year, but still was not to thrilled to take a picture with him.  Even though he is also a magical creature who brings treats, his favorite, who he still is talking about, is Santa.
After the picture we saw some bunnies and little chickens in the Easter village and Connor even rode a pig.

The next day we threw all the Easter traditions in one, an egg hunt and Easter egg coloring.  They searched high and low for as many eggs as they could find and then sat down to feast on the all goodies.

Easter egg coloring definitely smelled better this year, as we used Koolaid to die our eggs instead of the wonderful aromatic vinegar.  They loved stirring their eggs and playing with the colored creations.

What a great and tiring Easter.  Good thing we have all that candy to keep us awake and moving.
