Center Stage

Last night we witnessed a true first; how our kids handle themselves on stage.  They had their first concert with their Moms Day Out program entitled Worthy of Praise. 
Going into the program, expectations for performance were not set too high with having a 2 and 3 year old perform.  My hope was that neither got caught picking their nose or having a meltdown.  I think there was a brief pick by my lovely son Connor, but thank goodness the latter did not happen.

Connor's class sang "Praise Him, Praise Him" while Corynn's class shook their musical instruments loudly for "Shake My Shaker". They both did an amazing job.  Corynn sang and did all of her hand motions watching all the kids on stage with her back to the audience and Connor started to shake his groove thing towards the end of the whole performance.


We, of course, captured this lovely experience on tape to watch for years to come; or to torture the children by showing the wonderful home video to future girlfriends and boyfriends.
