Twas The Night

Twas the night before Christmas and running through the house

were our little kids feet wandering about.

The stocking's were hanging on the mantle patiently

for Santa's surprises to fill them and under the tree.

Connor and Corynn were so excited this year

that they saw Santa twice to ensure that he'd hear,

What a good boy and girl each were respectively

even though only one likes to pee pee on the potty freely.

We've enjoyed Christmas celebrations already but the best is yet to come

so now its time to get some rest for all the morning fun.

The children are eagerly awaiting Santa's arrival while they lay in bed

with all the wonderful dreams of the season dancing throughout their heads.

Tomorrow when the kids awake and scream joyously Santa was here

that will be the sweetest music to all of our ears.
