Gold Medals

They jumped, ran, and threw their way to gold medal success yesterday morning at their first Olympic showing.  They didn't have to go through the hassle of qualifying for events; they were able to participate in all.

 

They lit their torches and marched around for the opening ceremonies and then the games began.

First off was the 2 meter dash.  Once the race started the kids were off.  Connor was nice enough to let all the kids go first, especially Corynn who actually false started.

The other events that followed were:

Shot Put

Discus

Javelin

Tennis

Egg Relay

After all the hot summer Olympic fun, the kids were presented with their medals and the closing ceremonies commenced. 

Now the training begins for the winter Olympics; I'm thinking they will be great at the luge and pair figure skating.
