So let's start out with some relaxing and playing by the pool.
OK so maybe only Corynn and Connor were relaxing, but there was a lot of splashing and water gun action to keep all of the family on their toes.
We had a great time at the lake too. Connor had his first paddle boat trip. Dad was less then enthused to not only just paddle Connor, but the passenger in the back. He successfully achieved his workout for the day. Corynn also had her first real swim in a lake (she was also less than enthused).
While all the other family took the trip to Silver Dollar City, we decided to hit the air conditioned glory of the Butterfly House & Rain forest Palace in Branson.
Looking for butterfly's!Finding (and not necessarily liking) butterfly's
After all is said and done (including the worrying, running after our kids ALL day long, spending limited time with the hubby as we took nap turns with the kids (we did get to enjoy an hour on the lake riding a wave runner), and some fussing (or screaming) from tired kids, we would do it all again in heartbeat.
We can't wait until next year and I am sure all of our roommates can't wait for our kids to have a year to learn how to sleep in.
Stillwaters, here we come!!
