Pinata

The kids celebrated their first Cinco de Mayo festivities today.  The past years went unnoticed, but not this one.  The kids had a party at their friends house complete with chips and salsa, cupcakes (a must with kids), and a pinata.

When it came time to break open the pinata Connor was first in line.  He may have gotten a little carried away when swinging the drumstick at the pinata and made contact with a boy named Cameron instead.  He took it like a man and Connor of course apologized.  Soon that was a passing memory as the candy and toys started falling on the ground.

Corynn loved coloring her own sombrero hat... or herself.  At least she was enjoying it.

Both kids had a great time.  Even all the sweets couldn't keep my little sweetie Corynn awake.  She was asleep before we left the subdivision.

Now it is time for Mom to attend an adult Cinco de Mayo party this evening.
