Greatest Show On Earth

Over Thanksgiving break, Nanny and Papa Hutch treated the kids to the Greatest Show On Earth.  As we entered the United Center and down to the center ring, the kids were awestruck and speechless.  All the shimmering lights coupled with people twirling down from the ceiling made for an amazing site.


 

And of course a circus isn't complete without crazy clowns, giant elephants and roaring tigers. 

One of the first acts was the high wire group. Not only were they impressive, but they were performing right over our heads.  We will all pretty thankful no one stumbled or fell, as I am sure the performers were too. 

The favorite act, by far, was the human cannonball.  The kids were shocked to see her fly through the air with the greatest of ease and land with a bang. 

The circus was definitely an experience the kids, and adults, will not be forgetting anytime soon.  When we got home from our travels, they even decided to put on their own circus show.
