To get into the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday next week, we read 'Turkey Ball' for our Mommy & Me book club. It is about a gaggle of turkeys who take a bus ride, gobble gobble gobble, and dance the night away at a ball.
The kids had a ball reading the story and playing games with their friends. They even got a chance to ride in their own turkey bus.
For the craft they made flying turkeys.
They were also flying high on sugar after eating the turkey cupcakes.
